Send all entries to Barry Wagner, 925 Wood Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552-1925.
1. Entry Fee is $2.50 per bird. Entry fees must be included with the entry. If entry fee is not included, the entry will be returned. Make checks or money orders payable to the White Rose
Pigeon Assn.
3. Entries must be postmarked by July 26, 2008. NO POST ENTRIES OR PHONE
ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
4. Birds may be cooped after 9:00am (or earlier after the hall is set-up) Sunday, August 3, 2008. Judging will begin at 10:00AM.
5. Coop out time will be after the lunch and raffle have concluded (approximately 1:30pm). Please do not ask to coop out before this time, as it can not be done!
6. Any birds showing signs of sickness shall be taken from the show hall, including
For Sale birds.
7. Sale cages available for $3.00 each. (4 Bird Limit in a cage at one time – refilling is OK)
8. The club reserves the right to combine classes or change entries, at the discretion of the
show committee, to promote competition.
9. All young birds must have seamless bands. All bands, other than the one under which
the bird is entered, must be taped with white tape or removed.
10. No changes or substitutions in an entry will be permitted without the consent of the
show secretary.
11. No talking to the judge while judging is in progress. All judge’s decisions are final.
12. The White Rose Pigeon Association will not be held responsible for lost or stolen birds.
13. If for any reason the show is canceled (fire, snow, situations beyond our control, etc.),
the White Rose Pigeon Association will not be responsible for travel, lodging, or any other loss of any kind. All entry fees will be refunded.
14. Please enter FLYING RACING HOMERS in the following color classes:
- BAR – anything with a bar
- BAR MARKED – barred with white flights or white feathers in the body
- CHECK – anything checkered
- CHECK MARKED – checker with white flights or white feathers in the body
- SELF – solid colored birds
- SADDLE – saddle marked birds
- BLUE BARLESS - blue barless birds only
15. Please enter UNFLOWN HOMERS in the following classes: (Please note: This is a separate
breed. Most homers will be entered in the Flying Racing Homer class)
- RED PIGMENT - Chequers, Bars AOC - Yellow, Dun, Opal, Etc.
- BLACK PIGMENT - Chequers, Bars
- WHITE MARKED - Pieds, Grizzles, Flights, Mismarks
16. A trophy is awarded for every 15 birds per breed.
Notes:
· Please refrain from or minimize the use of shavings in the show hall. We need to continue to
make a good impression on the fire company. Your thoughtfulness and tidiness are greatly appreciated.
· There is no smoking allowed inside the fire company.
· No alcohol is allowed on / inside the fire company, grounds, parking lot, etc.
